Mental Health Matters: Personal Stories
Mental Health Matters 2013
In the spring of 2012, TVO, in association with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), presented Mental Health Matters -- an in-depth exploration of the state of mental health in our society. On air and online, we shone a bright light on mental health-related issues, from a variety of perspectives, expert and personal.
The Agenda's award-winning contributions to Mental Health Matters culminated during Mental Health Week, the Canadian Mental Health Association's (CMHA) annual national event, with a week's worth of broadcasts devoted to the topic. Mental Health Matters 2012 was only the beginning. We've once again teamed up with CAMH, and will once again be devoting a week's worth of Agenda programming to mental health, during Mental Health Week, May 6 to 12, 2013.
Mental Health Matters is more than just television programming.Over the coming weeks, you'll find, on this special page devoted to the series, web-exclusive videos, blog and guest blog posts, live chat transcripts, video from an public broadcast event (in collaboration with CAMH and MaRS Discovery District), online resources, and more.
